I want to connect to the FtpServer and to do this i created an AdoNetConnectionPool but it does not work. I believe the problem is that the pool uses its own thread and does not share the one with the FtpServer. I tested with an FtpWebRequest to upload a file and it worked, so the FtpServer shares its thread with the FtpWebRequest. A: I am assuming you are using the FtpWebRequest class. Are you? You are correct that the connection pool works with a separate thread. If you want to work with the FtpWebRequest class, you can use the CopyToAsync method to marshal an IO operation to a threadpool thread. Otherwise, you can open your own thread, work with FtpWebRequest in that thread, then close the thread when done. Ron Paul: U.S. Exit From Afghanistan Is Necessary For more than 15 years, Ron Paul, a former Republican U.S. Representative from Texas, has served as a national leader in the effort to end the unnecessary war in Afghanistan. On Tuesday, he issued a statement that underscored the need for the U.S. to leave this war in an interview with The Fiscal Times. It’s time for the United States to end our disastrous involvement in the disastrous Afghan war. Washington should never have been in Afghanistan in the first place. We were never there to make friends, or for democracy, or for universal brotherhood and tolerance. Our only interest is our own security. And the current situation in Afghanistan is not conducive to our safety. The U.S. should have an active military presence in Iraq, and other areas of the world where American interests may be at stake
